યુગો પછી જોવા મળશે ચિર-પરિચિત ચહેરો
સંભાળજે ઓ દિલ મારા! એ આવે છે.
ગંભીરતા તો એને લગીરેય ગમતી નથી
બની જા ઓ દિલ આવારા! એ આવે છે.
ઝરણ બની ફૂટી નિકળશે સમય-શીલા પરથી
નદી, સંકોચી લે ધારા! એ આવે છે.
પૂનમની રાત છે અને ચંદ્ર નથી ઊગ્યો?
ચિંતા ન કરો સિતારા! એ આવે છે.
ક્ષણ માટે આવશે ક્ષણમાં ચાલી જશે
થંભી જાઓ પલકારા! એ આવે છે.
પદરવ સાંભળતી વખતે ખલેલ ન જોઇએ કોઇ
બંધ થઇ જા ધબકારા! એ આવે છે.
